The rental periods are divided as follows for a week-long rental (preferably Saturday to Saturday, but usually flexible):

Prices for 2010 (now with 10% reduction for last-minute bookings)

June - September: now £765/895€

April - May, October and December (including New Year): now £585/650€

January - March and November: now £400/465€

Weekend tariffs (if possible) in these periods are 50% of the week-long price, for 3 nights (Friday - Sunday).

Other lengths of stay may well be possible, including long lets - please contact John or Sarah to enquire.

Payment in full is required to confirm booking.

30% REDUCTION APPLIES FOR 2ND CONSECUTIVE WEEK, AND 10% REDUCTION FOR RETURNING BOOKINGS

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

You will arrive to find the house clean, tidy and welcoming. Hot water will be on, as will heating if necessary. All bedding is provided, as well as some towels (up to 6 guests). All water, electricity, gas and logs are also included for responsible use.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Payment in full is required to confirm booking, together with a £150 security deposit cheque. This will be returned after the rental period, unless used to cover any damage or breakages, or to pay for extra cleaning should the house be particularly dirty, charged at £15 an hour.

The rental price includes pre and post visit cleaning and laundry. Should the house be particularly dirty at the end of a rental period, extra cleaning may be charged at 50 euros. Please report damage and breakages to John or Sarah immediately. No smoking indoors. Well-behaved pets welcome - a dog bed is available.

GETTING THERE

Although Ty Gwyn is in a very secluded area, it is surprisingly easy to access by ferry (4 ½ hours from St Malo, 6 hours from Cherbourg), road (15 minutes from A10 motorway), rail (TGV line to Angouleme station, 45 minutes) or air (La Rochelle and Bordeaux airports both 90 minutes away). Specific instructions will be sent once booking is confirmed.
